FABRIC – Pleasant, PVC-coated polyester that is smooth and comfortable to the touch. For ultimate comfort, convenience and cleanliness, we also recommend a machine washable Tuffr VetBed Slip Cover ($20)
INNER LOFTED MATERIAL – The high-quality open-cell urethane foam is a single piece to prevent shifting. No loose stuffing, movement or clumping!
CLEANING – Foreign materials are easily removed from the VetPad surface. If the bed is soiled, just wipe with cloth and sanitizing solution or wash with soapy water and rinse off. Dries almost instantly.
DURABLE – Designed to be less tempting to chewers. The VetPads are NOT chew-proof. The Tuffr VetPad is made from some of the strongest fabrics available. However, we must stress that anything you can cut with scissors is, in fact, chewable to a nervous or otherwise discontented animal.
SLIP COVERS – Available in singles or grouped in packages of 12. Machine washable, polyester/cotton blend, smooth sherpa woven, super absorbent, stain-resistant that keeps patient warm and dry. Inter woven elastic banding keeps the cover in place, while making it easy for the caregiver to get on and off. This lightweight material makes them easy to wash and fast to dry.

Purchased this pad for my 3 geriatric dogs after witnessing 1st hand how amazing they are. I’m a veterinary technician who uses these throughout the day, from recovering patients from anesthesia, to giving geriatric dogs a nice place to rest their bones. What I love most about these pads are how little laundry I have to do, if the pad gets soiled I can simply spray it down and wipe it clean. Durability plays the other critical role with these, I’ve seen many dogs try to scratch or dig into them, yet after closely examining I can find no damage. I personally find these pads to be incredibly comfortable, the 4 inch is very plush, perfect for napping after a 12 hour shift, and incredibly enough I’ve not seen them warp or flatten at all. These pads are a game changer – absolutely critical for every dog owner and veterinary hospital.
