• To ensure secure transport, we incorporated 12 ergonomic handles around the perimeter of the stretcher, providing VTs with a firm grip while carrying their precious cargo.
• The addition of a 1/16” sheet of HDPE plastic lends rigidity to the stretcher, creating the distinctive Tuffr "cradling effect" that animals find reassuring during transport.
• The stretcher also serves as a continual pressure point-free and heat-retaining platform throughout various veterinary procedures, including emergency transport, exams, imaging (such as x-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs), presurgical, surgical, post-surgical, recovery, and rehabilitation.

The top 18 oz gray vinyl is securely RF welded to the extremely durable bottom sheet of 40 oz black vinyl. This construction ensures longevity, even in demanding environments. Our stretcher is also resistant to microbes, viruses, bacteria, molds, mildews, fleas, ticks, abrasions, tearing, scratching, color fading (UV), and extreme temperatures.
